Made of solid domestic hardwood, this heavyweight will command attention in the most discriminating kitchen. The 1.75" solid butcher block top has an 10-inch-deep drop leaf with heavy-duty supports. Also comes in a version without a wine rack. The Baby Grand Workcenter is made in the Catskill Mountains of upstate New York from solid Northeastern Hardwood, which is not endangered, and is self-replenishing. All scraps are recylced into wood pellet fuel. (Where veneer panels are needed, such as drawer bottoms, these panels are solid plywood and do not contain particle board.) FEATURES
